About

Diploma in engineering started from session 2010-11 after the approval of state govt. and AICTE, ministry of HRD, Govt. of India and is affiliated to Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education, Uttarakhand.

Om institute of technology strives to provide high quality education in professional engineering in electronic-related fields in order to produce engineers who will be competitive in a global market. It also aims to serve its community by conducting practical research to resolve industrial and community problems.

The Diploma in Engineering, also Diploma of Engineering or Diploma in Technical Education are programmes focused on practical and skills-oriented training. It is a technical degree that only covers the essentials when ranked with an undergraduate engineering degree. It aims to provide students with industry or job related engineering knowledge, scientific skills, computing & analysis, mathematical techniques, a sound knowledge of English to communicate in the field and ability to apply problem solving techniques. Its duration is 2–3 years. Diploma holders gets employment as technicians, technologists, supervisors, superintendents, foremen, machinist, workshop technicians, draughtsman, station technicians (energy, thermal, aeronautical), automobile technicians, maintenance & service technicians, equipment mechanics and technicians, CAD/CAM programmer, agricultural overseers, instrument technicians, junior instructors, manufacturing, tool and die designers, electricians…etc.

🔹 The above fee includes Tuition Fees, Admission Fees, Registration Fees, and other campus charges.
🔹 The University registration, University enrollment & University examination fee are to be paid by the student as per university regulations.
