CLUBS

The Career Development Club is to empower students to achieve their career aspirations by providing them with the necessary support, guidance, and resources. The Centre is committed to promoting a culture of lifelong learning and to helping students acquire the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in a rapidly changing job market.

The primary objective of CDC is to provide students with a variety of career-related services that will help them to prepare for, enter, and succeed in the workforce. The key objectives of CDC are as follows:

• To provide students with the resources, tools, and guidance they need to explore career options and make informed decisions.
• Pre-internship program is organized to make the students industry ready. Also, Earn and Learn programs are arranged for the needy students.
• Mock interviews and group discussions are also a part of the industry readiness program
• Develop synergy between industries and University.
• To assist students in developing the skills and competencies necessary to succeed in the workforce.
• To connect students with potential employers and job opportunities.
• To support students in their job search efforts and provide ongoing career support throughout their professional journey.

CULTURAL CLUB

• The club aims to instil in students cultural sensitivities and sensibilities by conducting various collaborative activities. Students are encouraged to showcase their cultural art-forms and learn about others’ simultaneously. The club offers an environment for students to acknowledge and respect each other’s differences and similarities and thrive together harmoniously.
• The organising and managing of events at institutional level will help students to develop the feeling of camaraderie among themselves and infuse leadership qualities in them. Students will be able to explore their creative, aesthetic, and unique sides of their personalities

AYURVEDA & PHARMACY INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP CLUB

Purpose

To foster Innovation and Entrepreneurship within the college by engaging students, faculty and industry to work on innovative solutions based on technological understanding of industrial and social concerns that are critical to the world

Vision

To evolve as an Innovation & Entrepreneurship Club to Promote Invention, Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Ayurveda & Pharmacy Sector.

Mission

• To Train, counsel, guide and mentor the young brains in the field of Ayurveda & Pharmacy to perform innovative translational research and setting up of the enterprise.
• To facilitate the scientific interactions between Businessmen, Academicians, entrepreneurs, clinicians and Students to generate novel ideas in the field of Ayurveda & Pharmacy
• To provide infrastructure and state-of-art technology to nurture an idea into proof of concept (PoC).
• To be a centre of excellence that fosters synergy between the academia and the industry that fuels entrepreneurial spirit and inculcates research bent of mind among students to help them to be self -reliant and contribute to the nation building.
• To nurture technology and knowledge-based endeavours through their start-up phase by providing the necessary support and promote entrepreneurship.

LITERARY CLUB

The Literary Club has constituted to enhance the skills of speaking, reading,, writing and presentations  abilities of students. Student development in self-efficacy, confidence, and general knowledge are all aided by literary clubs. The literary club attempts to foster students’ creative abilities. It gives them the chance to develop their own writing abilities while appreciating various genres of literature. Club members get together to talk about literature and writing techniques.

SPORT CLUB

The Sport Club has constituted to enhance the student’s college experience and contribute to the student’s overall education and wellness. Club receive administrative support and advice from the higher authorities. All the current Under Graduate and Post Graduate students are eligible to join and participate in sport club activities. The club’s programs at Om Group of Colleges offers to the Students community an opportunity to participate in a broad variety of sports and recreational activities and to live a balanced life academically, athletically and socially. It constructs a bridge of social relationship among teaching staff, non-teaching staff and students.

In order to enhance the knowledge and skills of students in a specific sport of interest while at the same time retaining social, cognitive and physical experiences, It helps to learn teamwork at work, coordination among diverse cultural and mainly infuses discipline and instils the value system.
